When we came to the first snorkling stop I was thinking about how I was going to communicate with the captain to ask about all these huge jellyfish - were they dangerous, could the burn? I drew a picture of a jellyfish and a person swimming on it and made sounds as if it hurt. 'No ploblem' was the reply...
So we jumped in - I had two children clinging on to me like little scared monkey babies and won't you think - we swam right into a jellyfish. Jonathan saw it and warned us but I didn't know where it was and I had a hard time seeing with two hysterical children climbing on me. Both A. and S. got burned. S. very severely over teh legs. She screamed HYSTERICALLY from pain for 4 hours. We were devestated - didn't know if she also was allergic. Should we give her an adrenalin shot (which we always carry with us due to her other allergies).

On the way back we came into a monsoon storm and I was totally prepared for the boat to turn over. My biggest concern was that noone got stuck in the roof - laying in the water and high waves we would manage for a while until someone came by and picked us up. Luckily the sea is warm. But we never had to experience it - we made it to shore!
